Licorice Root (Tl’usiip)

This traditional medicine is harvested all over our wonderful island. It is best when harvested from big mossy maple trees and is used as a sweet treat or a cough losenge.

  1. Do you use the leaves, or the roots, or both?

    • Just the roots, be sure to wash the dirt and moss off first.
